A tandoor or wood-fired oven reaches extreme temperatures with open flame, hot clay and metal and sparks — use it on a stable non-combustible surface, keep the stated clearance from walls, fences, furniture, branches and anything flammable, and never use it indoors, in a garage, under a canopy or a pergola roof. Cure a new clay tandoor with small fires as instructed before full use, raise the heat gradually, and never shock hot clay with cold water — it can crack. Keep children and pets back, use heat gloves, do not leave a live fire unattended and let it cool fully before moving or covering. CE marked where applicable.
